We grant that good works are a part of the Christian life. True faith in Jesus Christ brings forgiveness and eternal life, and with these, the infilling of the Holy Spirit. God's Spirit will not inhabit us idly. Indeed, we are created so that he may do these good works. First we are rebirthed, and then, good works will follow. They do not save us but are evidence of real and true faith.
