We must always be ready to be challenged in our beliefs. Indeed, we should welcome such challenges. And we should be used to these challenges because we have been honest enough to challenge ourselves. More is required than to easily say, “Well, that’s just what I believe.” Why do you believe what you believe? What do the Scriptures say on the matter? Can you actually defend your beliefs with the Word of God? Start by defending them to yourself, and then you will be able to answer others. Do not be afraid to defend your faith. People may revile you, but at least you were able to give a faithful answer.
